The Base has 2 screw holes in to fix it down onto the concrete rather than setting it permanently in the ground. We recommend fixing to the ground with SAS Security Fixing Bolts. This makes it easy to store your post away safely when not in use.
Another reason another base may be useful is if you may want to use the same post but in a different position to where the original base was concreted in.
