OakEV Camper – Allows you to power your caravan or RV from an electrical vehicle charger.

 

The OakEV Camper converts a charge point into a standard electrical connector for your caravan. Power your caravan or RV anywhere you can charge your car, an ideal product for when you’re camping off-site or on a driveway.

 

The OakEV Camper also runs at 16A, allowing you to charge faster than through a standard 3-pin plug.

 

Operation:

Plug the OakEV Camper into the charge point.

Plug your RV/Caravan cable into the OakEV Camper.

When removing, just press the unlock button to remove it from your charger.

 

Cable length: 50cm – to be used in conjunction with your mains extension cable.

 

The OakEV Camper is compatible with all untethered chargers (bp pulse/podpoint, etc) this is because of the special microcontroller in the OakEV that constantly measures the incoming current and ensures that your caravan is safe!

 

If your caravan can use site electrics, this device will be perfectly safe. It supplies no more power than what you can already draw from the campsite, no matter the power of the untethered charger.

 

The devices also contain some extra safety features, some of which are listed below:

·        The cable is fully protected from overloads or short circuits, as it is fully RCD protected

·        The connector lock can be easily released when required - as it communicates with the car charger just like an EV would

·        If the charge point cannot supply the required power, the unit will not engage it, preventing an overdraw of current

·        The product is fused at 16A, you will not be able to draw more current from it than 16A (which is what your caravan should be rated for)
