Quest magnetic drive away kit A magnetic drive away kit makes it easier to connect your awning to your vehicle. It allows for easy disconnection when the awning is pitched and does not require the awning to be un-pegged. It can be used on both 6mm or 4mm channels with the included 4mm adapter. To use, simply attach the magnetic side to your vehicle, slide the figure of eight along the other side of the magnetic strip and then slide your awning into the other side of the figure of eight. You can attach the magnetic strip to you awning first and then attach the magnetic strip to the vehicle if you fin this method easier. To use the 4mm adapter simply place the 4mm adapter in the dark grey material on the magnetic strip and wrap the material over the adapter. This then allows you to thread this into the 4mm channel rather than using the sewn in 6mm beading. It is 285cm in total length. The kit contains 1 x magnetic strip, 3 x 90cm figure of eight sections and an additional 4mm adapter.
